Monthly Design: Expression of the Spirit of the Past and the Inorganic Church, Eastern Edition
The Eastern Edition, an expression of the spirit and weapon religion of the past, was unveiled at the Creators Museum in commemoration of its launch in May of the brand Eastern Edition, which is inspired by oriental aesthetics and traditional crafts. The Eastern Edition furniture, designed by designer Tae-oh Yang, expresses deep beauty at the point of contact between the human hand and nature based on the aesthetic 'mumi' of the late Joseon Dynasty. A timeless, non-religious beauty can be found in this furniture that explores materials such as wood, stone, and iron and contains contemporary interpretations with simple lines. On the other hand, it was also noticeable that NFT works were displayed in the showroom along with the brand launch. It is interesting to try to convert an object made a long time ago into data and then return it to reality through cutting-edge technology.
